実験手順: To a mixture of ethyl 1-methyl-2-oxo-cyclohexanecarboxylate, 37a, (2.05 g, 11.10 mmol) in EtOH (20 mL) was added hydroxylamine hydrochloride (0.97 g, 13.96 mmol) and pyridine (0.99 mL, 12.20 mmol). The mixture was heated to 65° C. overnight. The solution was concentrated in vacuo and the crude material was partitioned between water and EtOAc. The aqueous layer was extracted with EtOAc twice more. The combined organic phases were washed with brine, dried over MgSO4, filtered and concentrated in vacuo. The resulting residue was purified via silica gel chromatography (0-35% EtOAc/hexanes) to afford the desired product, 37b. The solution was concentrated in vacuo the crude material was partitioned between water and EtOAc The aqueous layer was extracted with EtOAc twice more The combined organic phases were washed with brine dried over MgSO4 filtered concentrated in vacuo The resulting residue was purified via silica gel chromatography (0-35% EtOAc/hexanes)
