The resulting solid was purified by reverse phase chromatography to afford 2,6-dichloro-N-(3-methyl-4-(2-oxo-1,2-dihydropyridin-4-yl)benzyl)benzamide. The reaction mixture was degassed again by bubbling nitrogen through for 15 min The reaction mixture was diluted with EtOAc extracted three times with water The organic phase was dried over magnesium sulfate filtered concentrated in vacuum The resulting solid was purified by reverse phase chromatography
