実験手順: To a suspension of 9.0 g (70.2 mmol) of (S)-piperidine-2-carboxamide (prepared by the method of Geotz Hardtmann, William Houlihan and Rudolf Giger, U.S. Pat. No. 4,760,065) in 100 mL of methylene chloride was added 24.0 g (140.4 mmol) of benzyl bromide and 7.2 g (70.2 mmol) of triethylamine. The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 24 h and washed with 1N aqueous sodium hydroxide. The organic layer was dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate and solvent was removed at reduced pressure.
