The solid was then triturated with diethyl ether, isolated by filtration, and dissolved in dichloromethane. An insoluble impurity was removed by filtration, and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure to provide 14.05 g of (S)-(7-bromo-3-nitroquinolin-4-yl)-(2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolan-4-ylmethyl)amine as a yellow solid. it was concentrated under reduced pressure The resulting solid was isolated by filtration concentrated under reduced pressure The solid was then triturated with diethyl ether isolated by filtration An insoluble impurity was removed by filtration the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure
